MIC Institutions

The following institutions are managed by the Kodungallur Taluk Committee of Malik Bin Deenar Islamic Complex.

MIC Orphanage U.P. School

All inmates of the destitute home and also the poor students of the locality attend this school. The present strength of the school is about 600.

MIC has been imploring  the Government to raise this U.P. School to a High School, for the last twelve years. Its fulfillment in eagerly expected.

MIC Masjid

The absence of a masjid in the precincts of the orphanage  was keenly felt. The requirement was met by a generous brother of Ras-Al-Khaima (U.A.E.) who spent ten lakhs of rupees for the construction.

It has come as a boon not only to the inmates of the home but also to the people of the immediate neighbourhood.

MIC English School

It is the trend of the general public to send their children to English Medium School. This has resulted in the deterioration of religious and moral standard of growing generation.

In order to prevent the degeneration of public an English Medium school was started in 1999 to impart both spiritual and temporal education to the students. There are about 200 students attending the school at present.

MIC Arabic College
Arabic is one of the world languages, and is one of the five languages approved by U.N.O. As such, no doubt it is exceptionally important and gives much scope for employment in foreign countries and in our own.

More over, proficiency in Arabic is conducive for moral and religious studies. Against this background, MIC in 2001 started an Arabic College for Afzalul Ulaema Course, which is recognised by the University of Calicut.he commencement of this

college has greatly improved the general educational standard of women folk. Most of the girls as a rule dropout after S.S.L.C. Now they join this Arabic course and benefit themselves spiritually and maeterially. After passing the preliminary exam in two years they are qualified to be employed in L.P. and U.P. schools. A pass in Afzals Ulema in five years makes them qualified for employment in High Schools. They are also serviceable in many other ways to the society in particular and to the country in general.

Vocational Training Centre

There is a time when employment is at its peak, and youngsters of both sex are suffering a lot due to lack of jobs. In order to ameliorate this sad plight of youth, MIC institutions started a Training Centre where young men & women are given free training in tailoring so as to enable them for self employment and eke out their living.
