MIC is a leading movement in Kerala for all educational, cultural and social activities. The educational and charitable institutions that come up in different parts of Thrissur are indicative of the growth of MIC. The complex is active in Thalappilly, Chavakkad and Kodungallur Taluks which extend over more than thirty acres of land in the aggregate. Had they been contiguously in one place it would have been one of the largest Islamic institutions in Kerala. There is no corporate body in Kerala which has institutions in all Taluks.
